Banking News

We would like to thank all of our students who have participated in the CommBank School Banking program this year.

Today was our final School Banking day for 2017.  There will be no School Bankig next week.

All tokens/rewards that have not been redeemed this year can be used in 2018.

Congratulations to Casey Chapman, Year 3 who was the recipient of the $20 voucher.  Well done to all these students who collected a Commonwealth Bank school banking prize; Charlee Thornett, Imogen Garbellini, Ally Bowman, Ethan Lee, Chloe Mammoliti, Joshua Lee, Dale Appelbee, Abigail Fowler, Jayden Phillips, Hayden Seaman, Isabella Logan, Aaron Dines, Harry Lee, Joshua Mammoliti, Archer Whittaker, Joel Appelbee, Ryan Moore, Ted Lennox, Zach Hughes, Jamie Teahan, Harrison Logan and Toby Hughes, well done!

Thank you to all of the banking families for your ongoing support, teaching you child about money and saving.

Well done to our 60 active school banking students, so far we have raised $355.13, for our school through School Banking, from Terms 1-3 - 5% commission on every deposit made through the school (to a maximum of $10 per individual deposit).

(Term 4 commission will come out at the end of the year 31st Dec 2017).

We also opened 14 new accounts during 2017, and each time a new account is opened our school receives $5 when a student makes their first ever School Banking deposit.

Saving regularly is an important habit to get into, whether you're saving a little or a lot!

We say goodbye to one of our parent helpers Scott Miller and thank him for donating his time during the year to assist with the school banking program. Also to our Year 6 children who will be embarking on their high school journey and wish you all the best; Charlee Thornett, Imogen Garbellini, Emily DiTrento, Kate Miller, Jayden Luca, Hannah O’Hara,  William Rix, Jacinta and Luke Cooley. Thank you for your support during your time at OLGC.

Thank you for supporting the School Banking program and have a Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2018. Keep up the great work and remember to bring in your School Banking deposit next year when we resume in 2018.
